PD: Housekeeper Stole Nearly $400k in Jewelry from Westport Residence
The woman allegedly pawned several items over the course of two years.

A longtime housekeeper at a Westport residence was arrested for stealing nearly $400,000 worth of jewelry, police said.
A Judy Point resident told police on May 25 that a large amount of jewelry was stolen from her home, according to NBC Connecticut.
Police and insurance investigators determined that 35 pieces of jewelry worth $384,330 were stolen from the home and safes.

Police learned that Martha Lopez, 57, of Norwalk pawned at least 20 pieces of jewelry in Wilton over the course of more than 2 years. She was a housekeeper for 18 years.
Lopez was charged with first-degree larceny and was unable to post a $150,000 bond.
