Police Seeking Woman Suspected Of Stealing Wallet: Westport PD

WESTPORT, CT — Westport police said they are seeking assistance identifying a woman suspected of stealing a victim's wallet. The incident occurred Sept. 11 at the Bank of America on Post Road East around 2 p.m., police said.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, police said the suspect was allegedly seen picking up the wallet on surveillance by the Bank of America security team. The surveillance confirmed the wallet was picked up by a woman in a red-colored hooded sweatshirt carrying a large shoulder bag, police said.
Police said several transactions were made in Bridgeport using the victim’s Bank of America credit card hours after the wallet was stolen.
