Porsche Stolen In Westport Crashed In Berlin; Teen Suspects Arrested
According to the Berlin police, the two masked teens were seen fleeing the sports car, believed stolen in Westport.
BERLIN, CT —Local police Thursday evening took two teenagers in custody in connection with the crashing of a Porsche stolen in Westport this week.
According to the Berlin Police Department, which issued a statement Friday morning, Berlin officers were called at about 6 p.m. Thursday to the Sunset Lane/Westview Terrace part of town.
Residents in that area reported a blue Porsche with heavy front-end damage, with one caller reporting two males with masks being seen running from the car toward Lower Lane.
Berlin police were able to find and apprehend a 16-year-old juvenile male and a 17-year-old juvenile male in connection with the incident.

In addition, according to Berlin police, the New Britain Police Department also is investigating an "incident" in that town with the same vehicle that was stolen.

Both juveniles, who were not named due to their age, were detained at the Hartford Juvenile Detention Center.
