Gas Leak Led To Closure Of Post Road East In Westport: UPDATE
Westport police made the announcement Monday afternoon; the road has since been reopened.
WESTPORT, CT — The Post Road East at Hillspoint Road in Westport was temporarily closed in both directions Monday, due to a gas leak, according to Westport fire officials.
The police department initially announced the road closure on Twitter.
Fire officials followed that up with a post on Facebook about the gas leak.
