Portion Of Sherwood Island Connector Was Closed In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Motorists were advised to avoid the Sherwood Island Connector in Westport Monday afternoon due to an undisclosed police investigation, according to authorities.
The road was temporarily closed between Greens Farms Road and the Post Road East due to the investigation, which was referred to as a "traffic issue," but it has since been reopened.
