A Staples High School teacher has been put on administrative leave, school officials have told parents, after police informed the school about a criminal investigation into the teacher’s possible activities, the Westport News reported.
The Connecticut Department of Children and Families has been notified about the matter, according to the report, which also said that Westport police were first notified about the matter by school officials.
The teacher was put on leave “immediately” after school officials were told that the investigation had begun, and school officials will cooperate fully with it, according to the report.
