Road Closure Information Announced For Westport Fine Arts Festival

WESTPORT, CT — This weekend's Westport Fine Arts Festival will necessitate the temporary closure of some streets in downtown Westport, beginning on Friday, Westport police announced.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, Main Street between the Post Road East and Avery Place, and Elm Street between Main Street and Bedford Square, will be closed through Sunday at 10 p.m.

"These road closures will result in traffic congestion downtown and increased pedestrian traffic," said Lt. Sereniti Dobson in a statement. "The motoring public are urged to use caution while driving through Downtown Westport this weekend."
