Roof Fire Extinguished At Westport Barnes & Noble: Fire Officials
The downtown Westport fire was reported Wednesday morning, according to fire officials.
WESTPORT, CT — A roof fire was extinguished Wednesday morning at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in downtown Westport, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported in the blaze, which temporarily shut down a portion of the Post Road East while firefighters battled the fire.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was in the first and second floors of the building, and they quickly found the source was a small fire on the roof.
