Save the Date - May 7 - for CLASP Homes Taste of Westport

Save the date - May 7. It’s CLASP Homes of Westport’s 11th annual Taste of Westport,
6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.

Look forward to fantastic evening of tasting – featuring favorite dishes from choice area restaurants as well as wines, beers and cocktails, desserts and cappuccino - all to support a great cause.

New this year: A special pre-party “Intimate Affair with Neil Fuentes, The Singing Chef!” Neil is the Executive Chef at Jojoto, a Venezuelan hot spot in Branford, and is a regular guest on Connecticut Style, Chopped, and a champion on Food Network’s Rewrapped. He will kick off our evening with an entertaining cooking demonstration from 6pm-7pm.

We’ll feature offerings from nearly two dozen of our area’s most notable restaurants, among them Geronimo, Pane e Bene, Rive Bistro, the Spotted Horse, and Spread. There will be oysters on the half shell from Hummock Island Raw Bar, and a selection wines and spirits from Black Bear Wines & Spirits and the Greens Farms Spirit Shop. And everything’s included in your ticket price.

Tickets including The Singing Chef’s Pre-Party are $95 ($100 at the door). General admission tickets, for the 7pm start of Taste of Westport, are $75, or $80 at the door.

CLASP is a 33 year old nonprofit providing homes and opportunities for people with autism and other developmental disabilities. Its programs foster independence, dignity and continued growth for its clients at its 21 residences in seven area communities. CLASP collaborates with area businesses to match the capabilities of its clients with the needs of these companies.

Donations to CLASP are tax deductible, and all funds raised support CLASP programs.
