Section of Westport's Compo Road North Expected to Reopen Next Week: State
The section of road has been closed for a month for construction.
WESTPORT, CT — Compo Road North - between Main Street and Cross Highway - is expected to reopen for traffic on Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to Shalal Hussein, the manager of the construction project for the state.
The road has been closed since Aug. 22 for the installation of a new culvert under the roadway.
"We hope to have North Compo Road reopened on September 20th, but a formal response from the Department will provide you with further details," wrote Hussein in an email to Patch on Thursday.

When state officials made the announcement of the closure last month, they anticipated that the road would be closed for a month.
