Westport Teen Found Safe, Silver Alert Canceled: UPDATE

Police canceled a silver alert after a Westport teen was found safe Thursday.

Update: Police Lt. Dave Wolf said Thursday afternoon Christian Euceda-Alonso, 14, was safely located by Westport police and has since been reunited with his family. The Silver Alert has been cancelled.


WESTPORT, CT — Police are looking for a teenager reported missing from his home in Westport since Wednesday evening.

In a news release, Police Lt. Dave Wolf said Christian Euceda-Alonso, 14, walked away from his home sometime after 5:30 p.m.

Police describe Euceda-Alonso as approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a slender build and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a solid black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and black shoes with green soles.

A Silver Alert was also issued early Thursday morning, which notes Euceda-Alonso has brown eyes and weighs approximately 120 pounds.
