Spike In COVID-19 Cases Changes Westport Schools Calendar
The district is reporting nearly 250 cases involving staff and students.
WESTPORT, CT — Students will not report back to school on Monday, Jan. 3 as school officials announced a major spike in the number of received COVID-19 cases, Hearst Connecticut reports.
Staff will still report to work on Monday, Jan. 3. Students are expected to return to school on Tuesday, Jan. 4.
As of Dec. 30, there were 249 students and staff who are currently reporting COVID-19 infections, according to the school district.
