St. Luke's Students are National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
Two seniors compete for a national scholarship.

St. Luke’s seniors Aarit Bhatnagar of New Canaan and Henry Robb of Pound Ridge were recently named semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. They are among 16,000 high school students nationwide who will compete for one of the 7,500 scholarships.
Aarit and Henry qualified as National Merit Scholarship recipients after taking a preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Semifinalists represent about 1% of all high school students in the country.
As semifinalists, Aarit and Henry will submit details about their academic records, participation in school and community activities, leadership abilities, and honors and awards received. To be considered a finalist, candidates must have an outstanding high school academic record, be endorsed by a high school official, and write an essay.
