St. Vincent’s Medical & Surgical Weight Loss Earns Accreditation
Program demonstrates multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care
The medical and surgical weight loss team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center was recently granted accreditation. The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), in partnership with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), has recognized St. Vincent's Medical Center with Comprehensive Center accreditation.
A MBSAQIP accreditation formally acknowledges quality improvement and patient safety efforts for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients. As an accredited program, St. Vincent’s has demonstrated it meets the needs of patients by providing multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care.
