Staples Boys and Girls Cross Country Sweep Meet At New Canaan

Boys improve to 13-1 and girls now stand at 10-3

The Staples boys' and girls' cross country teams overcame intermittent rain showers Tuesday to sweep their respective  meets at New Canaan's Waveny Park.

The boys' results were as follows: Staples 26, New Canaan 31; Staples 19, McMahon 44; Staples 22, Warde 37; Staples 21, Ludlowe 38; and Staples 15, Harding 50.

For the girls, it was: Staples 15, New Canaan 50; Staples 15, McMahon 50 Staples 22, Ludlowe 37; and Staples 15, Harding 50.
