Staples High School To Present 78th Annual Candlelight Concert

WESTPORT, CT — The 78th Annual Candlelight Concert will be presented in the auditorium of Staples High School on the following dates:

• Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 15 matinee at 3 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m.

According to a press release, this annual gift to the Westport community showcases the talents of our nationally recognized musicians and performers. Some pieces from the evening will include "Sleigh Ride," "Three Moods of Hanukkah," "O Tannenbaum" and "Hallelujah Chorus."

Groups performing will include choral groups Bella Voce, Choralaires, and Anima Cantorum, Staples Bands and the Symphonic Orchestra. This year’s Candlelight program artwork is by Staples sophomore Sarah Allen.

Tickets will be available to the public on Monday, Nov. 19 starting at 9 a.m. You can get tickets online at www.staplesmusic.org (4 ticket maximum). There is no charge for Candlelight tickets, but order promptly as tickets go fast.
