Staples Seniors Receive CAS Arts Awards

They were named as two of approximately 300 top Connecticut seniors who excel in the arts.

From Westport Schools: Staples High School students James Gikas and Mariella Alderucci, two of approximately 300 top Connecticut seniors who excel in the arts, were honored at the Connecticut Association ofSchools (CAS) High School Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet. Held on April 2 at the Aqua Turf in Southington, the banquet annually recognizes two seniors in each member high school for their outstanding ability in the performing or visual arts. Selected by Staples staff to receive this honor, Gikas was recognized for music and Alderucci for art.
