Staples Students Participate In Western Regional Music Festival
School officials said over 20 students from the Staples High School Music Department participated in the festival.
WESTPORT, CT — School officials said 21 students from the Staples High School Music Department participated in the CMEA Western Regional Music Festival on Jan. 11 and 12. According to a news release, participating Staples students included:
Orchestra: Lucy Belknap, Justin Berg, Zachary Bishop, Calvin Carson, Nicholas Denton-Cheng, William DeRocco, Lucas Flood, Anella Lefebvre, Annie Liu, Neha Navrange, Abe Rubin, Matthew Davis, Woongki Hong, Jacob Kitchner and Sophia Lauterbach
Concert Band: Elana Atlas, Caleb Kitchner, Preston Lust, Maximus Pace, Caroline Russell and Benjamin Schussheim

The festival, hosted by Darien High School, involved 33 schools and approximately 400 students from the western part of Connecticut.
