'State Of The Town' Addresses Scheduled In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — Westport First Selectman Kevin Christie, and Board of Education member Abby Tolan, will give State of the Town addresses from 2 p.m. to 3:30 on Sunday, Feb. 1, in the Trefz Forum at the Westport Library, officials announced.

The event is free and open to the public and will also be live-streamed at (https://www.youtube.com/live/bCGEQ9IbJpI).

"As Westport enters a pivotal period during which several major projects and initiatives are or will be undertaken, this year’s State of the Town event is of particular relevance to all Westporters," officials said. "The speakers’ addresses will be followed by a question- and- answer session moderated by Westport Rotary Club Past President and RTM Moderator, Jeff Wieser."

The Feb. 1 event is a joint initiative of the Westport Sunrise Rotary and the Westport Rotary Club. Rotary is an international service organization with over 45,000 clubs and 1.2 million members worldwide.
