Suspect Accused Of Stealing $8,300 Worth Of Cosmetics In Westport: Police
The suspect, a Stratford woman, was accused of stealing the merchandise on three separate occasions from Ulta Beauty on the Post Road East.
WESTPORT, CT — A 39-year-old Stratford woman was arrested in Westport on multiple larceny charges this month, after police said she stole $8,353.50 worth of cosmetics from the Ulta Beauty store at 1365 Post Road East.
Falynn Arslan was charged with two counts of third-degree larceny and one count of fifth-degree larceny in connection with three separate shoplifting incidents at the store in 2025.
"It was reported that on May 27, July 28, and on September 11, 2025, this suspect had stolen various beauty products from the store," Lt. Anthony Prezioso wrote in a statement. "In the May incident, $652.00 worth of products were reported to have been stolen. In July, $3293.50 worth of products were reported stolen. In September, $4408.00 worth of products were reported stolen. Through investigation, the suspect in these incidents was identified as Falynn Arslan."

Westport police obtained warrants for Arslan's arrest, which the department carried out on June 17. Arslan was already incarcerated on unrelated charges at the time, and was transferred to Stamford Superior Court for her arrest.
Arslan remains in custody, in lieu of bail of $3,000, and is scheduled to appear back in court on July 13.
