Update: 2 Swimmers - a Father and Son - Reportedly Rescued at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport

Updated at 8:02 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2016: Two Yemeni natives who live in the Bronx, who police said are a father and son, were rescued Sunday afternoon from nearly drowning in the waters off Sherwood Island State Park, reports Westport Now.
Emergency personnel searched for a possible third swimmer, according to NBC Connecticut News. No one was found, wrote Westport Now.
The two men were treated at Norwalk Hospital.

Original story: WESTPORT, CT — Police and fire personnel were called to Sherwood Island State Park in Westport Sunday afternoon on a report of two near-drownings and a possible missing swimmer, according to Westport Now.
