Teen Arrested in Connection with Theft of $1,225 Pair of Boots: Westport Police
The theft occurred in January of this year on Main Street.

Westport, CT - An 18-year-old Ridgefield, NJ man was arrested early Monday on a warrant for fourth-degree Larceny and Conspiracy to Commit fourth-degree Larceny in connection with the theft of a pair of $1,225 boots from a store on Main Street in Westport, according to police.
Daniel Gatson turned himself into police Monday. The store in question was not disclosed.
"The investigation into the larceny identified the accused, Daniel Gatson (age 18) and an accomplice stealing the items from the store," police wrote in a statement. "Gatson and his accomplice were identified when they were arrested two days later at another store on Main Street Westport for another larceny."

Gatson was held in lieu of a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court later this month.
