Teen Night Scheduled This Month In Westport

WESTPORT, CT — "Westport Night Out," a teen night hosted by the Westport Prevention Coalition and Westport Weston Family YMCA, is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 27, according to organizers.

The event will take place at the Y, located at 14 Allen Raymond Lane in Westport, and is for high school students who live in or attend school in Westport.

Westport Prevention Coalition is composed of representatives from the Aspetuck Health District, Positive Directions, the Westport Police Department, Westport Public Schools, and Westport Human Services.

"The goal of the event is to provide teens with a safe, fun alternative to unsupervised house parties, which became a concern in town this past fall," organizers wrote in a statement. "The evening will include open gym activities, games, pizza, and social time for students in grades 9–12."
