Trackside Teen Center to Host Popular S4 Study Skills Two Study Skills Programs for Wilton High School Students

Trackside Teen Center is proud to host two workshops of its evidence- based Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4) program for 8th grade and high school students: Basic Study Skills 100, and Advanced Study Skills 200. The workshops foster academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn and achieve better academic success.

The Fall middle school workshop was full.

The Basic Study Skills 100 workshop will be held on Sundays, January 25 and February 1. The Advanced Study Skills 200 workshop will be held on Sundays, February 22 and March 1. Both workshops will be hosted from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Trackside Teen Center 15 Station Rd, Wilton, CT 06897.

In addition, Trackside will be hosting a workshop for parents, on what they can do to support their student’s study practice. This workshop, to be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 6:30 pm, is free and open to the public.

The S4 programs are designed to bolster academic confidence, motivation and preparation as academic workload and expectations increase rise. Skills taught include: planning, organizing, executive functioning strategies, as well as quiz, test, and long-term project preparation strategies.

Each two-session six-hour workshop is $295.
