Traffic Advisory Issued For Slice Of Saugatuck: Westport PD
Police ask travelers to please drive carefully and be sure to allow extra time for any traffic delays resulting from this event.

WESTPORT, CT — With the Slice of Saugatuck festival scheduled to take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, the Westport Police Department has issued the following traffic advisory:
Please note that Railroad Place from Riverside Avenue to Franklin Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on that date to allow for set up and break down of vendors’ booths and exhibitions.
All other roads will remain open to vehicular traffic, however motorists should expect heavy pedestrian traffic associated with the event in the areas surrounding the Saugatuck Railroad station including lower Riverside Avenue and Saugatuck Avenue.

Please note that the Saugatuck Railroad station lots will also be used to provide parking for the event. If travelling to the railroad station or destinations in the immediate vicinity, please drive carefully and be sure to allow extra time for any traffic delays resulting from this event.
