Water Rat Swimmer and Coach Represent State at Eastern Zone Regional Meet

Westport Weston Family YMCA Water Rat swimmer Michelle Kennedy and Coach Kristen Finnegan are representing CT Swimming at the 2015 Eastern Zone Short Course Age Group Championships, March 26-28, in Webster, N.Y.

This prestigious meet encompasses teams from the Eastern Zone, which spans the states from Virginia to Maine as well as Pennsylvania. Each LSC – Local Swim Committee – sends a team of swimmers who are the Top 2 in each racing event for the age groups offered.

Michelle, an eight-grader at Coleytown Middle School, will be competing in the 500, 1,000 and 1,650 yard Freestyle events. Kristen will be coaching the 10 & Under swimmers.
