The Watermark at 3030 Park Announces Return of Monthly Parkinson's Support Group

Support group coincides with community's bi-weekly Parkinson's Fitness Class

The Watermark at 3030 Park today announced the return of their Parkinson’s Support Group, a monthly meeting for people living with or caring for someone with Parkinson’s disease.

The support group will meet on the last Thursday of each month from 2:00 -- 3:00 at the continuing care retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line. The meetings are free of charge and open to the public; this month’s support group will be held on February 25.

“Living with or caring for someone with Parkinson’s disease can be a very daunting and stressful time in a person’s life; our goal with the support group is to provide people with a place for them to ask questions, share experiences and create relationships with others going through similar circumstances,” said Cindy McGuire, Fitness Director at The Watermark who also oversees the support group.
