The Watermark Makes Homemade Blanket Donation Animal Shelter

Blankets will be used for dogs and cats picked up by Southbury Animal Control

Each year, residents and associates at The Watermark at East Hill senior living community in Southbury meet and assess where in the outside community they can provide assistance, either through volunteering or some kind of donation.

This year, the group chose to help Southbury Animal Control and, over the past few months, have been creating homemade blankets for the dogs and cats at the local shelter. This photo shows the residents delivering their blankets to animal control, where they got to pose with Department Supervisor Marilyn Muratori-Jarvis and one of the dogs, Charolette.
