Westport Announces Community Forums for Superintendent Search

School superintendent search firm Hazard, young and Attea will conduct two community forums to gather information about what the community wants in its next superintendent.

The forums are as follows:

Tuesday, Sept. 1: 7:30-9:00pm Saugatuck Elementary Auditorium
Thursdsay, Sept. 10: 10:00-11:30am Town Hall Auditorium

In addition, beginning the week of August 31st and lasting through mid-September, HYA will be conducting an online survey of the community on the qualities of the next superintendent.

“As we have said since the beginning, we are committed to a process that will offer our stakeholders the opportunity to share their views about the needs of the school system and the qualities of the superintendent that will meet those needs,” said BEE Chair Michael Gordon. “These forums and the online survey are important opportunities for parents and all stakeholders to lend their voices to the search.”
