Westport Announces Schedule For Tree Maintenance In Town
To ensure the safety of residents, the following facilities will be closed while tree work is in progress.

WESTPORT, CT – Parks and Recreation Director Jennifer Fava announced this week that tree maintenance work will be taking place at Riverside Park and the Lillian Wadsworth Arboretum over the next few weeks. To ensure the safety of residents, each facility will be closed while the tree work is in progress.
According to a news release, Riverside Park will be closed to the public Oct. 16 through Oct. 22, weather permitting. The Lillian Wadsworth Arboretum will be closed to the public Oct. 18 through Oct. 26, weather permitting.
This work marks the beginning of the rehabilitation of Riverside Park and the continued creation of the Lillian Wadsworth Arboretum. The Parks and Recreation Department appreciates residents’ cooperation as they work to enhance these open space properties.
