Westport Assistant Fire Chief Fighting Northern California Wildfire
Let's wish A.C. Michael Kronick good luck and safety as he helps fight the wildfires.
Westport Assistant Fire Chief Michael Kronick is leaving Tuesday to help fight wildfires in Northern California.
Kronick is part of the 20-person Connecticut Interstate Fire Crew that is part of the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Kronick was last deployed to Canada in 2013 and has been deployed several times in the west before, according to the Town of Westport Facebook page.
