Westport Barnes & Noble Moving To New Location

WESTPORT, CT — The Barnes & Noble bookstore in the Post Plaza Shopping Center in Westport closed Christmas Eve and will reopen in a new location in town in February.

According to a note on the front door, the store, a fixture in town for decades, will move to the former Restoration Hardware store in downtown Westport on Post Road East.

Restoration Hardware, which had been downtown in a former Westport movie theater for nearly two decades, closed in the spring.

The reopening date for the Barnes & Noble store was not disclosed, but in the meantime, book lovers can visit the chain's Stamford or Milford locations.
