Westport-Based Piano Store Moving To Greenwich: Report
The lease is expiring at the end of the year at Steinway's current location at 501 Post Road East in Westport.
GREENWICH, CT — The Westport-based showroom for Steinway & Sons is moving the piano store to Greenwich in the near future, reports the Greenwich Time. The showroom is owned by the factory and was Connecticut's only Steinway location for nearly 15 years.
The lease is expiring at the end of the year at store's current location at 501 Post Road East in Westport, but the business has not yet settled on a new site. It is considering storefronts on Greenwich Avenue, according to the publication.
To help prepare for the move, the store is currently holding a sale this weekend on its stock of Steinway and Steinway-designed Boston and Essex pianos, according to the publication.
