Westport Boards To Review Signage Proposals For Main Street, Post Road East

The Historic District Commission and Architectural Review Board are scheduled to meet next week to examine two downtown applications.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Historic District Commission and Architectural Review Board are scheduled to review proposed signage for two downtown properties during a joint electronic public meeting on Sept. 1.

At Tuesday's joint meeting, the committees are scheduled to review and comment on proposed signage at 44 Main St., a property owned by Westport Main St Retail LLC. The application was submitted by Stephanie Rumer.

According to the agenda, comments offered during the meeting will be considered in anticipation of further zoning review and approvals.

The committee also is scheduled to review and comment on proposed signage at 76 Post Road East, also known as 33 Jesup Road. The property is owned by 76 PRE LLC, and the application was submitted by Taibe William.

Comments on that proposal also will be considered as part of anticipated further zoning review and approvals, according to the agenda.

The joint committee is also scheduled to consider approval of minutes from its July 7 public meeting.
