Westport Book Shop Announces January Art Exhibit
The Westport Book Shop will welcome literary and visual artist Diane Meyer Lowman as its guest exhibitor for the month of January.
WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Book Shop will welcome literary and visual artist Diane Meyer Lowman as its guest exhibitor for the month of January at the book shop's Drew Friedman Art Place.
According to a news release, Lowman's art exhibit includes nine original haiku poems, each superimposed on a photograph taken by her, mostly in Westport or nearby.
"I love both the simplicity and complexity of the haiku form," Lowman said in a news release. "They’ve become a daily ritual for me, like journaling. Both the photographs and my state of mind inspire and influence them."
