Westport CERT Names New Executive Board

Westport, CT -- At an event that took place at the Westport Fire Department’s headquarters, outgoing Community Emergency Response Team’s President Ernie Heidelberg (2nd on left), and his wife Zulema Heidelberg (3^rd on left), congratulate the newest members of Westport CERT’s Executive Board: Mike Vincelli, President (3^rd on right); David Kinyon, Vice President (2^nd on right); and Shari Brennan, Treasurer (1^st on right). Joining them was Bob Kenny, Region 1 Coordinator for the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (1^st on left). Heidelberg will remain on the board as Immediate Past President and Advisor. He and his wife Zulema are two of the original members of the Westport Community Emergency Response Team, or CERT, which they joined in 2004, one year after the organization’s formation. CERT is a volunteer organization made up of emergency responders and is administered by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. Westport CERT is a division of the Westport Emergency Management Directorate. Missing from photo is Molly Alger, Secretary.
