Westport Community Meeting Planned After 'White Lives Matter' Fliers Found

The meeting will be held to talk about the issue.

Town officials and clergy members have scheduled a meeting in response to “White Lives Matter” flyers that were found in Westport.

The meeting will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at the public library, according to NBC Connecticut.

The fliers have been found in Fairfield, East Haven and Milford as well.

Town leaders said in a statement that there are some questions about the motivation behind the slogan but it’s clear in other communities that it was motivated by racism.
