Westport Democrats Seek Replacement For Dobin On P&Z

A replacement is needed because Danielle Dobin was elected to the Westport Board of Finance on Tuesday.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Democratic Town Committee is seeking to fill the post on the Planning and Zoning Commission of Danielle Dobin, who is vacating the position because she was elected to the Board of Finance on Tuesday.

Registered Democrats may apply by submitting a statement of interest and bio/resume to Michael Gordon at mgordon906@gmail.com, according to the party.

"The deadline for submissions is Monday, November 20, at 5pm," officials said in a statement. "Candidate interviews with the Nominating Committee will likely be held Monday, November 27."

Those Democrats who are interested in the seat should be prepared to serve the remaining two years of Dobin's current term, and stand for election in 2025 for a full four-year term, officials said.
