Westport Downtown Association's Fine Arts Festival Saturday & Sunday
The event requires the closure of Main Street between Post Road East and Avery Place, and Elm Street, this weekend.
WESTPORT, CT — The 49th Westport Fine Arts Festival, hosted by the Westport Downtown Association, is this weekend along Main and Elm streets.
To accommodate the vendors and assure the safety of pedestrians, those two roadways will be closed to vehicular traffic starting Friday morning.
Main Street between Post Road East and Avery Place will be closed, as well as Elm Street between the Baldwin Parking Lot and Main Street.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
"The 49th Westport Fine Arts Festival remains a highlight on the calendars of art collectors from New England and Manhattan each year," organizers wrote in a statement. "Original, juried works in Painting, Watercolor, Photography/Digital Art, Sculpture, Drawing (Pastel, Pencil, Ink), Printmaking, Mixed Media, Glass/ Ceramics, Jewelry, and Wood are displayed in beautiful downtown Westport, CT."

Additionally, the festival features live music, special performances, and children's activities.
"Motorists should expect minor delays when traveling through the center of town during the next few days," Westport police said in a statement.
