The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The single most pressing issue facing our town is navigating through the pandemic and keeping our students safe and in school. We must be prepared to address the short and long-term effects of the pandemic - socially, emotionally and academically - if we are to live up to our school district’s mission. We must ensure tools are in place at all grade levels to support our students.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I am honored to be running with Christina Torres. Together, we will continue to uphold democratic values, and we firmly believe in excellence for every student.

Accomplishments:

I have a track record of collaborating with numerous constituents, navigating complex strategic and financial matters and advising management teams, as evidenced by executing over $40 billion of financing and strategic transactions in my career. Additionally, I have consistent and heavy PTA involvement: volunteer and committee chairs and executive board.

Other issues:

Excellence for every student, driven by excellence through accountability, in our facilities and resource allocation, and for the whole child. And unequivocal support of the district’s equity study.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

  • Career: IBM, Merrill Lynch, and The Madison Square Garden Company.
  • Education: MBA, Kellogg | Northwestern. BS, Union College.
  • Volunteerism: Treasurer, Coleytown Elementary School PTA. Coach, and Westport Soccer Association.
