Westport Elementary Schools Ranked Among Best in State

Several Westport elementary schools ranked among the best in the state, according to Niche.com.

Here are Westport’s rankings:

• Saugatuck Elementary School-- No. 4
• King’s Highway Elementary School-- No. 5
• Coleytown Elementary School-- No.6
• Green’s Farms School-- No. 7
• Long Lots School-- No. 8

According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
