Staples High School Announces November Students Of The Month

WESTPORT, CT — Eight students have been announced as the November recipients of the Student of the Month award as Staples High School.

In a news release, Principal Stafford Thomas Jr. announced the following winners:

• Max Levy – Gr. 9
• Maria-Despina Mutescu – Gr. 9
• Chanel Wash – Gr 10
• Tyler Rockwell – Gr. 10
• Michael Porzio – Gr. 11
• Christina Meehan- Gr. 11
• Nina Driscoll – Gr. 12
• Alonzo Darby – Gr. 12

According to the school, the Students of the Month award program recognizes students who help make Staples High School a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike.

These students are identified as the "glue" of the Staples community: the type of kind, cheerful, hard-working, trustworthy students that keep the high school together, making it the special place that it is.

Students of the month are nominated by their teachers, who are asked to think of those students who come to school regularly and are friendly to the staff and fellow students.
