Westport Home Damaged In Late Night Fire

WESTPORT, CT — A fire damaged the exterior of a Compo Road South home in Westport late Sunday night, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, which was called in just before midnight, as all occupants had gotten out of the home safely.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames outside the rear of the home, and quickly extinguished them. Four Engines, one Truck and the Shift Commander were initially dispatched to the scene, and mutual aid was provided by Norwalk and Fairfield firefighters.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Westport Fire Marshal's Office.
