Westport Library Hosts Mix-it-Up Fundraiser Oct. 12
Proceeds from ticket sales and a portion of the auction will go directly to the Library.
Westport Library: For one night only, you’ll have the chance to mix it up and rock out to live tunes in the heart of the newly transformed Westport Library! Westport’s own WAZA, one of the hottest cover bands around, headed up by Westporter Marty Jaramillo, will take the stage in the Library’s remarkable Forum to crank out some of the most memorable tunes from artists like the Rolling Stones, to Bon Jovi, to Journey and everything in between. PLUS, a performance by American Idol finalist Drew Angus and rock tunes courtesy of DJ Mo.
While you dance, enjoy cocktails and bites by Marcia Selden Catering and check out an exclusive, rock and roll-inspired silent art auction featuring artists Irene Penny, Stephen Goldstein, Kerry Heftman and Mark Rich.
The evening is a fun, high-energy fundraiser designed to benefit the Westport Library. Proceeds from ticket sales and a portion of the auction will go directly to the Library.
