Westport Makes Decision On Schools Friday

WESTPORT, CT — School officials said Thursday that Westport Public Schools will be closed for all students and staff on Friday, Jan. 5, due to the heavy drifting of snow and ongoing clean up throughout the town. The announcement was made on the district website.

Officials said offices will open on a two hour delay. All activities scheduled for Friday will be will be canceled or rescheduled for a later date.

The Board of Education Budget Meeting will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Town Hall auditorium, officials said.
