Westport Man Sentenced for Stealing $1.9 Million from Clients

He was accused of stealing from at least 57 clients.

A Westport man was sentenced to between four and 12 years in prison for stealing more than $1.9 million from clients.

Stephen Krawitz served as a New York personal injury lawyer and was accused of stealing from at least 57 clients, according to Westport Now.

Originally Krawitz was charged with stealing more than $600,000, but prosecutors dug deeper and found he stole much more.
