Westport Middle School Wins Science Olympiad
A local Science Olympiad Team recently won big at a state championship competition due to their hard work and dedication.
WESTPORT, CT — The Bedford Middle School Science Olympiad Team won the State of Connecticut Science Olympiad Championship this past weekend, thanks to the students’ dedication and hard work.
The students worked under the expert guidance of advisors Mr. Ellis, Mrs. Nicholas and Dr. Cortright, according to a release.
The BMS team outcompeted 17 school teams from across the state and is now preparing to travel to the 34th Annual Science Olympiad National Tournament, being held May 18-19 at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colo.
