Westport Official Leaves For Interim Town Planner Post In New Canaan: Report
She takes over the responsibilities of a recently departed New Canaan planning director.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Former Westport planner Keisha Biggs Fink has been hired by New Canaan as the town's new interim Town Planner, reports the New Canaan Advertiser.
Fink's appointment was unanimously approved by the New Canaan Board of Selectmen on Sept. 26, and had been requested by Cheryl Pickering Jones, director of Human Resources. Prior to her position in Westport, Fink obtained a Masters Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Central Florida, and she was a city planner in Carlsbad, Calif., writes the Advertiser.
Among Fink's new responsibilities will be taking over the duties of former New Canaan Planning Director Steve Palmer, another former Westport official, who resigned this month for a position with a family business.
