WESTPORT, CT — Westport's open houses this weekend include a contemporary on a waterfront acre at Driftwood Point with views of Long Island Sound and Saugatuck Harbor on three sides, a new Bruce Beinfield-designed house near Compo Beach, and a 1920s home the listing says is 383 steps from the sand.

Eight Westport homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, with prices from $995,000 to $7,489,000, according to Zillow.com.
