Westport Physician Fined, License Placed On Probation By State
She was disciplined by the state Medical Examining Board.
WESTPORT, CT — A Westport physician's medical license recently was placed on probation for a year by a state governing board, and she was fined $10,000, in connection with a problem with her care of a client, writes the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cornelia Gallo was disciplined by the state Department of Public Health following a complaint against her by the state Department of Developmental Services.
Details of the issues that led to the punishment were not disclosed. But additionally Gallo must have her practice supervised, and must attend certain training courses in documentation, proper prescription procedures and other skills.
